These 6x5.5 to 6x135 Adapters are specifically made to allow Chevy / GMC Trucks with a 6x5.5 bolt pattern to use Ford / Lincoln Stock Or Aftermarket Wheels with a 6x135 Bolt Pattern. They are designed hub centric & wheel centric for a complete OEM fitment for zero vibrations and an OEM smooth ride! If You Order 1.25" Or Thinner Adapters, You Will Need To Trim Your Trucks Studs Unless You Are Using Aftermarket Wheels With Back Pockets That Accommodate Adapters. With 1.5 Inches & Thicker Stud Trimming Is Not Required.

Important installation information
If the studs on the hub are longer than the thickness of the wheel adapters the studs will need to be trimmed so they do not protrude past the thickness of the adapter & so the wheel can sit flush on the adapter/spacer face. 1.25" inch thick adapters will most likely need stud trimming 1.5" inch clears usually around 98% of the time and 2" inch spacers always clear without trimming. This set comes complete with a set of open end lug nuts stated above. Please make sure your vehicles studs matches the thread pitch of the lugs provided or you may need to purchase a lug nut kit to accommodate proper installation. Lots of people install these at home, but we always strongly recommend professional installation. Uses and facts about our spacers and adapters
Our wheel spacers and adapters are commonly used for multiple reasons, from eliminating wheel & tire rubbing against shocks and struts, clearing break calipers, making room for larger tire clearance, or to adapt the bolt pattern of your vehicle in order to fit different wheels / rims. They will increase driving stability and handling performance by widening the track of your vehicle, and improve the look of your vehicle by giving you a more aggressive stance. All of our spacers and adapters come standard with heat-treated, hardened steel studs. Lastly we only use Aerospace grade 6061 T-6 Solid Billet Aluminum on all of our wheel spacers and adapters.
